Diaspora Welfare & Youth Development organization NPC is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental and Non-Political Organization registered in the Republic of South Africa with Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (C.I.P.C) and recognized by the Department of Social Development as a Non-Profit Organization, by SARS as a Public Benefit Organization, a B-BBEE LEVEL 1 Contributor with 135% Procurement Recognition and works within the legal framework of all relevant Tax Laws and Acts in South Africa. It was formed in 2012, incorporated and registered in July 2016.

Diaspora Academy is a program initiated towards Youth Soccer and Netball Skills Development and has become the natural place for talented youth to come to if they wish to make a career out of sports or enjoy the game socially. At our Academy, football and netball development starts from ages 9 to 21 years.

The Organisation strives to produce football players that will play in our professional leagues in South Africa and abroad, provide an opportunity for players of all genders, all racial and religious backgrounds to enjoy the sport with no prejudice. Thus developing and promoting the policy of equal opportunity, encouraging sportsmanship and fair competition along with developing through life skills training, upstanding young individuals into our greater communities.


To be the place for development and fun of football, healthy life style and life skills, and be the only ray of hope for our youth, with an emphasis on youth teams and compete at the highest possible levels, leagues and competitions accessible. We endeavor to facilitate the provision of the best playing amenities and equipment available to us, in line with the growth of all the sport codes in the country.
